Puget Sound area general contractor is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. We are flexible as to which day of the week you work, so this position is ideal for someone needing flexibility in thier schedule, offering 30-32 hours/week. Candidates should be a skilled framer, general knowledge of finish work (proficiency not required), understanding of basic construction processes, and ideal if they have pervious experience with remodeling construction. Candidates should have most standard carpentry tools, personal protection gear, a reliable vehicle and valid license to transport yourself and your tools. The right person for this position should be able to work with a team or independently. They should be flexible with the type of work assigned from day to day: one day may be skilled carpentry, the next may be simple demo and hauling. We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude. Our projects are primarily interior and exterior remodels of existing homes. Attention to detail, quality of work and a strong consideration of working in a client’s living space are extremely important; we are looking for someone who can both focus on immediate tasks and forward think. We will start at $27-$30 DOE and increase pay after three month probationary period. We work primarily in north King County, however there may be instances where projects are in other King or Snohomish county areas. We will subsidize gas for projects that are further away.
