Nagging injury that just won't quit? Then repeat after me: "I am loving awareness." We invite you to join these creative classes as self-healers as we explore the edges of your human body. Opening, or creating s p a c e , between two vertebrae simply using your powerful intention and breath can be just the answer to feeling stuck or pouring from an empty cup. There is much more to a stiff back than just bending and twisting to release the tightness you may be feeling. Your past injuries or traumas can cause you to unconsciously hold tension in and guard in areas of your body without ever being aware of this muscle memory. It's natural to cope, and also possible to unwind. Decompressing the spine can not only feel incredible but also improves the body's circulation and stimulates our lymphatic flow––the system our bodies rely on to detox the environmental chemicals we encounter on a daily basis. A stiff or tight body can feel like a shackle unless we love it open. Premature aging, leaky gut, and hereditary diseases can become chronic if the root causes are not approached and eliminated. This natural movement series explores spinal restoration and regenerative ELDOA postures interwoven with yoga flows, breath work, and guided intention setting as fuel for inspiration. Join this in-person class in Holualoa, Hawaii with restorative movement specialist and holistic nutritionist, Mackenzie Buckner. Mackenzie holds certifications as an ELDOA practitioner, certified strength and conditioning specialist, natural movement coach, yoga teacher, Reiki healer, and the creator and facilitator of YOGADOA. These classes are designed to balance your spine-body-mind to master your breath and align with your destiny. Inspired by nature, these classes interweave the elements with your body's ability to detoxify all things that prevent you from vibrant living. We go to great lengths to support your health at this socially distanced live event. You enter our building with your mask on and bring: A yoga mat.A reusable water bottle.A blanket or sweater to finish the class warm, comfy and cosy.A journal and pen/pencil.Your favorite grounding essential oil (optional).Your cheeky smile and willingness to flirt with discomfort to explore the depth of your senses.What is ELDOA? Lemniscate is a fundamental technique that harnesses the power of the fascia–our soft tissue. It is typically described as a figure 8 or an infinity sign that explains the unending nature or link of the fascia within the body. When used correctly it stimulates metabolic respiration in the fascial tissue that is best described as "tissue breathing." ELDOA is one of the best exercises to train the fascia by improving the integrity of the structure and respecting the relational link of the body. ELDOA education teaches you how to master the lemniscate to achieve the appropriate goal for each person.
