In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in the Lindenhurst Patch: LINDENHURST, NY — Long Island residents cast their votes and chose a Lindenhurst diner as the best on Long Island for 2021, according to the Bethpage's Best of Long Island awards. Lindenhurst Diner, located on 195 E Montauk Hwy, received the honor this year. The local establishment also received the honor in 2019. Last year, CJ's Coffee Shop in Rockville Centre was named the best diner. Since it kicked off 15 years ago, the awards, sponsored by the Bethpage Federal Credit Union allow residents to choose the best countless restaurants, shops, and family-run businesses across Long Island.
