I'm just throwing a line in the water to see what's out here. Need drums? I got you covered! I'm available for hire! What are we working on? I will bring: Unwavering dedication No one likes flaky, lazy, or nonchalance towards a group effort. Time is valuable. Attention to details I learn as much about the music as possible all the way down to what key/modality the song is in. Pro equipment Shiny 10 piece drum kit with double bass pedal. Always tuned and ready. Style and flair I like to dress up and I interact with the audience from behind the kit. Unrivaled endurance I can go the distance without ever needing a break (or a Snickers). Creative thinking Sometimes it's fun to make songs your own. We don't have to play it exactly like the record version. Improvisation skills I can think on my feet and break format when the party gets wild. 25 years of percussion experience I have excellent volume control and sense of time. I have played many venues from dive bars to outdoor events. I can play a multitude of feels and styles guaranteed to get all booty shaking on the dance floor and money spent at the bar. Vocals I can sing falsetto here and there if needed. Audio production Not my strongest suite but I know a few things... whatever that may be worth. I generally play rock but I am also versed in grooves ranging from pop, jazz, reggae, blues, metal, hip hop, punk/ska, soul, r&b... And more. Variety is the spice of life! I truly enjoy playing diverse set lists. Surprise me! So in other words I bring many rhythmic options to the table and can flip the beat any which way at the drop of a hat (or skirt... Whatever they decide to wear is their prerogative). I play other instruments such as rhythm guitar, hand percussion, and keys for more intimate acoustic gigs but percussion is my forté. Samples available upon request. And yes I can definitely play with or without a metronome.
