DBC is seeking a masonry and site works subcontractor to carryout the following tasks -
A) Waterproof brick basement foundation ( exterior) - Contractor must excavate the perimeter the house to the full depth of the foundation walls (8ft to 9.5 ft). Contractor must then clean soil, loose mortar and/or concrete from the wall before applying a parge coat of mortar to even out the surface and patch holes. Once cured the contractor shall install waterproof coating (e.g., 40 mil polymer-modified asphalt) topped by dimple board. Contractor shall install dimple boards around the foundation to channel water to the exterior French drain at the bottom of the foundation. Contractor shall create a new foundation French drain system around the house that leads to a Drywell.
B) Interior Waterproofing - contractor shall parge the interior foundations walls and waterproof with BASF Masterseal 583 (formally Thoroseal)
C) Create a drywell that is 5 ft deep (8ft by 8ft) and hold up four to 5 NDS FLO-Wells. Drywell shall be lined with drainage stones
D) Contractor shall excavate the basement area by opening a whole in the rear foundation for a small skid loader (Terex PT30 or equivalent). Contractor shall excavate existing slab (less than 1 ft) down to the footers and create trenches for new plumbing and interior sump pump system.
5) Contractor Install new 4" inch thick basement slab (2500 Psi)
6) Repair rear foundation wall by extending the wall and square of the foundation and creating a new doorway (36” x 80”).
