Description
Two Darien, Connecticut moms have developed a new way to help students succeed in life with their newly established non-profit organization entitled Improvement Through Education. ITE will offer underserved and committed students the opportunity to attend college or apprenticeship programs through scholarships. The goal is to provide students with the means of breaking the cycle of poverty.
With years of experience in both the corporate and nonprofit fields, Catherine Kazim-Bailey and Paola Sordoni decided to use their skills to improve the economic outcomes of highly motivated individuals and improve the trajectory of their lives.
As many committed and highly motivated individuals lack knowledge about the college process or lack the funds to attend college, Catherine and Paola are eager to provide guidance as well as provide the funds to give them the opportunity to excel in life through ITE.
ITE endeavors to create real change and offer the chance to improve the economic outcomes of underprivileged students.
