Housekeeping Attendant Property Overview A classic New England Inn contemporary American Restaurant and Tavern. Is looking for a housekeeping attendant. Staff will be hospitality professionals with either restaurant or hotel experience and will know that our primary goal is guest satisfaction. We offer simple elegance with an exciting new feel. The property features 11 guestrooms, 65 seat main dining room, 85 seat tavern, and two private dining rooms seating 14 and 49 for sit-down meals. Position Overview Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with two-plus years of housekeeping experience. Hotel/restaurant experience a plus. Responsibilities · Clean checked out and service requested guestrooms · Fully clean and makeup guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and all other surfaces. · Restock and replace items used in rooms and housekeeping storage areas · Communicate clean status of each room upon completion · Remove food service trays guest rooms · Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order · Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner. · Clean public areas, including, lobby, restrooms, guest room hallways and dining spaces. Qualifications · Must be able to stand for 8 hours. · Must be able to communicate effectively. · Passion for hospitality and guest service. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. · Weekends required. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
