We are a licensed childcare center that provides afterschool care for children who attend: Essrig, Northwest, Citrus Park, and Claywell Elementary Schools. The kids arrive to our facility by bus around 2:15 (1:15 on Mondays) and stay until around 6:00pm. We need someone to help the current teacher with that group. The ideal candidate would possess lots of energy, patience, and creativity. It is preferable that the applicant have completed the 45 hours course with DCF to learn all about rules and regulations for working in a childcare center. If you do not have that, it can be completed in the first few months of working. Pay goes up when the 45 hour class is complete and twice a year when we do raises. Other benefits available after six months of employment. We also have a full time position available for a candidate with a CDA and some experience in childcare.
