Hailey Alexander Graduates from Fort Lewis College Hailey Alexander, of Northbrook, graduated from Fort Lewis College in December 2020. Alexander graduated with a degree(s) in Elementary Education. Nearly 200 Skyhawks graduated from Fort Lewis College in a virtual commencement on Dec. 4, 2020. — Merit Pages News Dance Marathon Overcomes "Rises," Raises $1.4 M for UI Stead Family Children's Hospital More than 1,400 current University of Iowa students who participated in the 27th annual student-led Dance Marathon which raised more than $1.4 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. The final tally raised by the students —who were inspired by the theme of this year's Dance Marathon: "Rise with Resilience" — was $1,422,443.27, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its history to more than $31 million. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.Cecilia Calise, of Northbrook, was named to the Dean's List.— Merit Pages News Alexa Rosenzweig Graduates From UW-Whitewater Alexa Rosenzweig, from Northbrook, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement on Dec. 19, 2021.
