Job Description We are interviewing for an experienced Lawn Care Professional who will be working alone or on a team in order to successfully complete a preset list of lawns on a recurring basis. This person will be given a "mowing setup," which will consist of a truck, trailer, two mowers, string trimmers and blowers. They will be given a list of lawns, and expected to efficiently complete this group of lawns, maintain the truck, trailer and equipment. Depending on the circumstances, this person may work with one other team member. This person will be paid a weekly base salary, for the completion of their assigned lawns and proper maintenance of their equipment. In order to be considered for this position the following are required: Requirement's for Consideration: You must know how to operate a zero turn riding and walk-behind mower with complete confidence Know how to operation of 2-cycle equipment Know how to operate and handle trucks and trailers (backing up and parking) Valid Driver's License American Citizen or Current work visa Know how to understand and communicate in English Know the various weed-whacking techniques and when to apply them Know how to do general mower maintenance (change blades, oils, fluids, etc) Know how to "line-up" a lawn Customer service skills Skill and Qualification that will increase your base salary: Lawn Treatments/Fertilization Spray License (will be required if hired) Lawn Repair Snow Plowing and Removal (working the winter will be required if hired) Building/Construction/Home Repair Knowledge Knowledge that is wanted but not necessary: Planting knowledge Plant identification Trimming plants Pruning plants Mulching Spraying Weeding Edging Skills and Qualifications - wanted but not necessary: DOT License Plant disease Irrigation/drainage background Hardscaping Tree Removal expertise Landscape design Base Salary will be determined based on years of experience, ability, management experience, and what you bring to the culture and benefit of the company. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
