I hate to do this but I truly feel this is in the pups best interest. I have a 1yr old male Chipoo named Milo. We got him as our 2nd fur loving friend and also a friend for our standard poodle. They get a long great!! The issue we are having is it appears Milo was previously abused, we had no idea! We drove 2hrs to get him, he did great in the car. My kids held him the whole way home with myself occasionally holding him. Since being with us 5 months now he still will not come near my husband or myself. He shakes uncontrollably when we are able to get close enough to pet or carry him. He was crate and potty trained when we got him and about 3 weeks after we got him we decided to try leaving him outside of his crate at night, he did great. Now, for about a month he has started peeing in the house. I’m at my whits end :( I’ve tried everything from treats, to affection when he lets me get close enough to just leaving him alone and giving him his space. He’s a great dog aside from the peeing in the house now and being absolutely terrified of us. We’re asking $400 for him. We paid exactly that for him. No papers. Small black and silver dog.
