Local Students Named to the Gettysburg College Dean's List for Fall 2020 Gettysburg College students take pride in their work, and we are likewise proud to announce their recent academic achievements. Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List. The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Fall 2020 semester: Alexandros Economou, of GlenviewConnor Koch, of Glenview — Merit Pages News Dance Marathon Overcomes "Rises," Raises $1.4 M For UI Stead Family Children's Hospital More than 1,400 current University of Iowa students who participated in the 27th annual student-led Dance Marathon which raised more than $1.4 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. The final tally raised by the students -- who were inspired by the theme of this year's Dance Marathon: "Rise with Resilience" -- was $1,422,443.27, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its history to more than $31 million.
