Free Community Awareness Outreach event hosted by Elite Foundation and Abundant Life Church - To End Child Trafficking in our Backyards. JOIN THE CHALLENGE TO SAVE OUR CHILDREN FROM EXPLOITATION & TRAFFICKING VISION 2021 - "The absence of the Father and the void left unmanned" This day will be filled with physical activities curated for your outside enjoyment. Special treats and eats, as well as a jammed-packed program to equip yourself and your kids with the knowledge needed to be safe from predators on and offline in our communities. We will feature musical performances by Gail Moore and Rick Krive (renowned recording artists) and so much more! This event by the Guardians of Hope will support the Elite Fly Mentoring Program, Project Stay Gold, and the Taking Innocence Project. This special event will also honor the 2021 recipient of the Dennis D. Jorden Helping Hands Humanitarian Award. History of the Award In 2020, Elite Foundation sought to identify and honor a community leader, who had championed the cause to eradicate human exploitation by significantly impacting the lives of children most vulnerable. Mr. Dennis Dee Jordan was the inaugural recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was bestowed on the recipient during the National month of Human Trafficking Awareness in January 2020 in recognition of Mr. Jordan's many community contributions to alleviate human suffering and improving the quality of life of children in crisis in South Florida and around the world. Mr. Jordan demonstrates servant-leadership and outstanding humanitarian mentorship that has led to accomplishments that bring honor to us all. Consequently, the Lifetime Achievement Award has since been named the Dennis Dee Jordan Helping Hands Humanitarian Award, in honor of Mr. Jordan's legacy work. Elite Foundation is accepting nominations for the Humanitarian Award from February 14th, 2021 through March 29th, 2021.
