Moving Helpers Needed

Description

This is a part-time position that will lead to a full-time position! We are looking for a an experienced mover to drive and manage the jobs and a helper to assist with loading and unloading trucks and other various moving tasks. The ideal candidate will satisfy all the qualifications below ● Knowledge of workplace safety practices ● Must know how to wrap and load furniture properly ● Must know how to use ratchet straps, hand trucks, and dollies ● Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform repetitive tasks such as stretch, turn, twist, reach, bend, squat, kneel ● Ability to safely lift and carry furniture up and downstairs ● Ability to understand and implement safe and efficient freight handling and lifting procedures ● Ability to safely secure cargo for transportation • Must know how to assemble/disassemble furniture and remove the doors off refrigerators ● Able to stand for an extended period of time ● Must have reliable transportation ● Maintain company standards in appearance, attendance, punctuality, manners, and ethics ● Legally authorized to work in the US ● Able to undergo and pass background tests (no violent crimes or theft) • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Must be punctual and reliable • Must know how to use hand tools and a drill Please call or text 760-335-6683 Thanks
