I get emails from the governor of Washington, I chose to get emails because usually what happens in Washington happens next to Oregon. I also receive emails from moveon.org. I dont want to get caught up in an echo chamber so I try to see what others have to say also... This next paragraph comes straight from the governors email. If you think I edited it, I didnt, strictly copy and paste. If we had suffered the same death rate as other states, such as South Dakota, we would be mourning an 11,000 additional Washingtonians right now. Washingtonians do right by each other. We will continue to do all we can to help reduce infections, hospitalizations and deaths, so that more Washingtonians can emerge from this pandemic to enjoy healthy lives.” The fact is, south dakota suffered 1100 deaths. not 11,000. The reason I say this, is dont believe what you read without doing your own research...whether its blue or red...Maybe it was just a typo but it hasnt been corrected yet.
