Description
“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” -MLK Jr.
Please remember we are all in this together, everyone deals with grief differently and even though spring is around the corner and nature is bursting with new life, a lot of lives have been lost due to covid-19 and a lot of friends are hurting.
If you or anyone you know is thinking about hurting yourself or others please Text OREGON to 741741 for 24/7, confidential free crisis counseling,
Or walk into Benton County mental health Monday-Friday during business hours to talk with a trained crisis counselor,
Or call 911 and hopefully someone can help deescalate the situation with you.
No life is replaceable and if you hurt yourself you are hurting the community.
These are very difficult times and fake positivity can really hurt some people so I'm begging, as a survivor of suicide and self harm, it's never worth it.
Please hold yourself responsible for your actions and remember things are unfolding,
Take care of yourself, stay calm and be diligent with Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions.
Help is here, it just needs patience in the process and reaching out to healthy influences.
Oh yeah, and believe in your dreams, as Dear Martin Luther King Jr. once preached and our collective community will always remember.
Take Care <3
