We have an adorable, tame, male agouti rat. His name is Jean-Luc. He is a fully grown breeder rat, that is in need of a good home. He loves to be held, and likes to hang out on people's laps. We are trying to vary the genes we can get from our rats, so we are sending him off to a loving family. The money will be used to help pay for Boy Scout Camp next year. If you are thinking about getting a small animal, such as a mouse, hamster, guinea pig, chinchilla, or gerbil, a rat is a better choice. Mice, hamsters, and gerbils are skittish, nocturnal, and do not usually want to be held. Hamsters often bite. Chinchillas are hard to care for, and have lots of fur. KNOW YOUR FACTS!
