Disabled eldery needs small companion dog for comfort

I had to put down both my "Luvvy Puppies", Poms, the same day due to their health. I'm so lonely without them. They helped me with my depression. I so very much would like at least ONE small dog to keep me company. I can't get out much, don't sleep well and cannot drive out of town due to over sleepiness. I have lots of love to give and actually two Vets in case one is unavailable. I'm not crazy about a black dog though but would consider it. I've had two dachsunds until they died of old age and health issues for over 14 years. About the same is true about my Poms. I have a big Calico cat who also loved my Poms. She would play with them and sleep with them and she is lonely too. I don't have a lot of money for a rehoming fee but would do my best for the right animal. Please let me know if you would consider giving me your small dog. I promise I will take good care of he or she and give it lots of love.
