Description

ESTABLISHED rock/blues BAND seeking brass musicians for horn section duo/trio. Trombone, saxophone, trumpet, (french horn). Local gigs, occasionally a regional gig (3hrs drive max), mostly weekends. Occasional band practice, no regular rehearsal schedule, seasoned players. WHO WE ARE: A slightly unruly group of local musicians, non-dangerous, gentleman really, family-men some, but lovers of blues and classic rock n roll, one and all. We have fun. We're professional. We have fun, did I say that already? We're looking for an excellent cultural fit firstly and a solid player secondly. We are hoping to build a tight, killer horn section. We like playing great shows, and we've got some lined up all year! WHO YOU ARE: You're a solid player of any instrument(s) mentioned above. Good stage presence, good look. A disciplined player with the ability to learn sections from studio tracks and recreate them live without embellishing. Don't worry. We want you to be a rockstar, and we'll let you know when it's your moment to shine. Solo time baby! ACTION ITEMS: - Please send a video (or audio) highlighting your chops. - Please send a current photo or social media link. (We promise not to steal your identity.) - We will hold short auditions for qualified candidates. (We'll send a song list in advance.) Hurry up! Your first gig is on May 29th. Outdoor concert, huge former Kiss stage! No joke. Well, if you're still reading this meandering rambling CL post, you might just be our guy/gal. So, it's now the time to say that if you're an anti-Stones fan, then you need not apply. We are a throwback act, in tribute to the Rolling Stones, but fear not, we don't do silly costumes. Our effort instead goes towards putting on a high-energy, solid rock show. Hope to hear from you; check out the band website here: rollingstoners (dot) us Cheers
