Cat needs a new home! My cat, Emu, is looking for a new home. She is one of the sweetest cats I have met. 12 years old and still playful. She loves people and pets that are calm and willing to live her back. I got her as a kitten, I also have another cat that never seemed to like her very much. My household dynamics shifted once the pandemic started, and Emu became more and more anxious. About 6 months ago, Emu went to live with my mother (in her 60's). Once she settled in, she was and still is the happiest cat she had ever been. Unfortunately, my mom has mild cat allergies. My mom was fine around Emu about a decade ago, but as spring pollens are coming out, it is becoming clear that her allergies are just a little too severe. Emu would do best in a relatively quiet household. She loves following a routine, and always wants to be around other pets or her humans. Ultimately I want what is best for Emu.
