Building repair and historic restoration company is looking to hire laborers at the entry level: Laborer duties will include: 1) Shop and job site clean up. 2) Company truck cleaning. 3) Loading and unloading building materials from trucks and trailers. 4) Driving pick up trucks to deliver materials to job sites and pick up debris from the job sites. 5) Helping restoration craftsmen with project set up and tear down. Apprentice Positions will include laborer tasks but incorporate instruction into restoration skills such as: 1) Preparing masonry walls for repointing. 2) Chemical and pressure washing. 3) Tuck pointing and basic bricklaying. 4) Professional caulking and painting techniques. This is a repair and historical building restoration company, not a temp service or agency. Employees must have reliable transportation and be able to go to the different job sites in Northeast Ohio. A valid drivers license with a relatively clean driving record is required. 6 points or less. All applicants must pass a drug test given 30 days after hire. Cannabis not included in screening. Experience with construction labor, masonry work, scaffolding and/or man lifts is a plus. Any OSHA 10 or 30 cards a plus. Please note that this is full time employment with competitive pay, paid direct deposit weekly. Health insurance, IRA, and paid time off are offered to all employees.
