Poop N Scoop is looking for a reliable Waste Management Technician for part-time hours with a possibility of full-time hours to clean people’s yards of dog poop. You will be assigned a route and drive to each location, clean the dog waste out of the yard with a pooper scooper. The clients we service have been with us for a long time and have high expectations for us to be consistent, reliable and professional. No poop can be left behind. REQUIREMENTS: • Must live in or near the North Shore area of Chicago. • As a tech you must be comfortable with online maps to get from address to address using the most efficient route. • Must have a reliable car. • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Have good communication skills (must use e-mail). • Flexible hours but must be at the first house between 8am to 9am. • Be prepared to get dirty while you work (mud, etc.). Work outside in the heat, cold, rain and snow and on rare occasions on Saturdays. BENEFITS: • You will be provided with the necessary supplies. • You will be given a gas allowance. • Compensation is at about $15/hr. • As a 1099 independent contractor you can deduct up to $.56/mile on your income tax return. • Flexible schedule, great sense of independence and stress-free.
