Industry leading mechanical and utility contractor has immediate openings for shop assistants / delivery drivers. Listed below are some of the typically daily tasks:
- Delivery of materials and tools to jobsites
- Loading and unloading of job trailers and vehicles
- Organization, cleaning and storage of tools and equipment
- Cleaning and organization of shop and yard
The minimum requirements that must be meet to qualify are:
- 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and pass a driver’s background test
- Have good attention to detail and mechanical inclination
- Self-motivated and able to work productively without direct supervision
- Be able to handle the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 100 pounds.
Having a Class A CDL is preferred and will increase pay. Company will provide training for qualified employees that wish to obtain their CDL.
These positions have historically led to long time career employment with our company in the union construction trades.

Typically working hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Overtime is common.
Compensation is based on qualifications and performance. Hourly pay, ranging from $18 to $30/hour.
