CFS Engineers is a geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing firm in the KC, KS that specializes in geotechnical drilling and sampling of soils for the purpose of foundation design and construction. We are looking for a hard working candidate that is willing to work long hours and weekends. We will provide on-site training and experience. A driller helper is part of a 2-man team and is responsible for hauling augers, water pumps, hoses, etc. They collect, log, and label soils samples during drilling and return them to the lab for testing. This position has a ceiling to grow into a lead driller, operating their own drilling rig on a full time basis. Occasional out of town drilling may be required. The position starts at $16/hour and overtime is paid for exceeding 40 hours per work week. We are an employed owned company that offers stock in the company, as well as a 401k plan and medical benefits. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and capable of lifting 80 pound augers. A flexible and problem solving attitude is a must.
