Common Hands Farm is hiring our 2021 farm crew! We have both full and part time positions starting in March. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years minimum experience with organic farming or gardening, preferably production farming. Must be comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather and temperatures, able to lift 50 lbs, have a clean drivers license, and a passion for organic/biodynamic farming/food! Some of the job duties of our farm crew include: -greenhouse planting / watering /maintenance -transplanting seedlings -weeding -cultivating -harvesting efficiently & quickly -processing crops / washing / packing -attending farmers markets (if you can/ are interested) -livestock care (chickens & pigs) We also have some small construction jobs around the farm, so construction experience is always helpful and appreciated!
