Lawn Care Team Lead In-Training Better View Landscapes is dedicated to providing customers with beautiful landscapes with meticulous attention to detail. We are seeking responsible employees with a strong work ethic, and experience operating landscaping equipment. We are seeking to add to our Lawn Care Team. After the initial training period, you will be responsible for your own lawn mowing route and the supervision of 1 team member. This position will report to the Senior Team Lead and Operations Manager. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem solver. A great communicator, with a sense of humor. A team player who enjoys collaborating, but excels on independent projects. Would describe themself as an outdoors person who takes pride in a good day’s work. Enjoys teaching others as well as continually learning and skill-building. Responsibilities include: >> Mowing and trimming clients’ lawns weekly >> Monitoring properties for damage from pests and disease >> Machine care and routine maintenance >> Lawn installations and repairs >> Spring/Fall cleanups and seasonal gutter cleaning >> The safe use of zero-turn mowers, grandstands, push mowers, power trimmers and edgers, backpack blowers, blade sharpeners, and various hand tools >> Assisting with our other divisions as needed for larger installation projects Requirements: >> High school diploma or equivalent. >> Must be 18 years of age or older >> Must have valid DL and clean driving record >> Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills. >> Work effectively and efficiently, able to follow directions. >> Good verbal and written communication skills. >> Willingness/ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with a positive attitude. >> Clean and professional appearance. >> Punctual and dependable. >> Ability to lift 60+ lbs consistently. >> Available to work a varied schedule (including occasional Saturdays). >> A commitment to the safe operation of each work task. >> Must pass DOT physical requirements Preferred: >> MA Pesticide Applicator’s License >> Experience with professional lawn care equipment Benefits >> Year-Round Position (on-call snow removal for winter) >> Paid Vacation >> Paid Time Off >> Paid Holidays >> 401k >> Additional Productivity Based Incentives >> Paid Travel Time To & From Jobs >> Paid Training and Professional Development Opportunities in the Off-Season >> Company Cell Phone >> Company refrigerator STOCKED (We’ll ask for your favorite drinks and snacks - get your list ready) Compensation $18-21 per hour based on experience and licensing.
