We are a moving & storage company offering employment for two positions in our warehouse. Applicants must have forklift certification and be able to stack 3 high. Experience with weighing shipments a plus, but not necessary.
Position 1:
The main responsibility for this position shall be to strip and stuff shipping containers for both our port drivers and drivers delivering and picking up shipments to our warehouse. The person hired for this position must:
- have pervious experience
- be organized
- be able to communicate with office efficiently
Position 2:
The person(s) hired for this job will have an array of duties that shall include, but not limited to:
-Loading/unloading trucks
-Organizing empty shipping crates according to type
-Prepping shipping crates for loading
-Consolidating overflow items of incoming shipments to achieve ideal density for export
-Prepping shipping crates for shipping
-Pulling shipments for delivery.
Qualification:
-Must be able to stack 3 high
-Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
-Must be a team player
-Previous weighmaster experience a plus, not mandatory.
-Must have a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
