Job Description Candidate will assist with regularly scheduled mowing and maintaining of residential properties. Able to perform duties independently after training period. Time management and attention to detail are key. Position is physically demanding. Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have valid ID, Social Security number and understand English. Must have transportation to and from a central meeting location. Driver’s license a plus. Must arrive on time and be prepared to work. Must maintain professionalism and courtesy. Safety is always the most important aspect of the job. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Mowing and edging of lawns. Operation of powered equipment such as large X-Mark mowers, string trimmers, and backpack blowers. Use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and axes. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, as well as trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. Gather and remove litter. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. Trim and pick flowers, and clean flower beds.
