We are looking for candidates that are professional, reliable, positive, energetic, and hungry to grow. Work to include small to large remodeling and additions projects, custom new construction. Work in a safe manner, stay organized, produce quality work. Work is generally in the south of Boston, south shore and metro west areas. Compensation is based upon proven experience, longevity in previous positions and references. We are seeking to fill several roles, at a high level the responsibilities are as follows: Journeyman: Duties would include: rough frame carpentry, finish carpentry including hanging/fitting cabinetry, millwork installations, and stairs. Interior/Exterior trim/casing and siding, decking, and other custom projects. Daily Coordination and scheduling with company project manager, and onsite subcontractors and vendors. Working in a safe manner, and stay organized. Additional responsibilities to be reviewed during interview. Apprentice: Learn to perform construction and renovation tasks including rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and high performance construction using carpenter’s hand tools, power tools, and job site safety systems. Maintain an orderly and safe site. Learn about and work toward the aesthetic, performance, schedule, and budget goals of the project. Act as a reliable, capable, and supportive member of the crew. Additional responsibilities to be reviewed during interview. Roles require: --Must be drug-free, and a non-smoker ~4+ years experience in residential building/remodeling/ construction --Strong communication skills --High School Diploma/GED, College education a plus --Knowledge of the building code (CSL is a plus) --A valid drivers license, and a good driving record --Can read plans/blueprints --Cabinet Installation/ built-in fabrication --OSHA 10 Hour Certificate Attention to detail and a growth mindset. Willing to learn new skills, participate in industry specific training and classes, self educate via trade publishing (JLC/Fine home building, etc.). Job Type: Full-time Compensation: is dependent upon role and ranging from $15-$20p/hour Apprentice and $20-$35+ p/hour for Journeyman (based on experience and knowledge), Company matched IRA, paid time off, company parties and other perks.
