Assists shop Mechanic with tasks relating to shop maintenance and fleet maintenance.
* Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance preferred (oil changes, filters, tools, etc.)
Roles and responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance on vehicles and equipment such as greasing, oiling, pressure washing
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities, shop and tools
- Fueling vehicles, emptying trash, cleaning and organizing our garage space, maintaining supplies, using tools
- Running errands in company vehicles
- Shoveling snow and salting walkways when necessary
The physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to: standing, pulling, bending, lifting, grasping, operating machinery and equipment and working in varying weather conditions.
Reliability and the ability to work independently is required.
Primarily work from shop and construction yard, but may be called for road or site assistance as necessary.
Must have:
· Valid Driver’s License / Clean driving record
