Bay State Wire & Cable Co. is hiring for the position of: Warehouse + Delivery Driver Serious inquiries only please. Shift: 6am-2pm Requirements: The appropriate candidate will have a valid drivers license, be punctual and consistent, and work well in a fast paced environment. They will be capable of working with peers and management to achieve specific tasks and goals. They will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with customers and co-workers. The ideal candidate will also have strong problem solving skills, and be able to make a meaningful impact on the ongoing improvement of their everyday workflow. Job Responsibilities: Driving: The new hire will be responsible for making on time deliveries to construction job sites throughout Boston and the surrounding area (Company Vehicle). They will prepare and organize their route in the afternoon for the following day by coordinating priority with the sales team. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating any field issues with the sales team, as they are often the front line of contact with the customer on site. Warehouse: The new hire will also be responsible for helping prepare orders, light machine work, and general warehouse organization/inventory management when not on the road making deliveries. No specific experience is required, but familiarity with similar tasks is preferred. All necessary training to be provided. Pay: Commensurate with experience. Starting at $15.00/hr.
