My neighbor did not want his young daughters cat after she left. He was not happy at the time and had been in a empty bedroom with zero food or water or litter. When I got him outside he jumped away and ran off. But he showed up on my back door this morning hungry and cold. And I could not find a company willing to come get him. So he let me pick him up and come inside. Fed him. Drank some milk. Now he's all snuggles. He is literally snuggled up to me on the couch at the moment. He seems to be under a yr old. Has gold eyes. Don't seem to be fixed. Don't know about shots or vet care. But I'm doubting he's had any. No one including the Humane society would come get him. So I went out a bought cat food and litter and litter box and food dishes that will all go with him. He just needs to learn to trust someone. He's allowing me to pet him and he is curled in a ball next to me on the couch half way on my lap. He does NOT trust someone to pick him up and you can tell he's been hit on the head and thrown around from the way he acts when picked up. But after a few hours he let me pick him up and set him on the couch next me to. I'd keep him but we have a 13 yr old dog that is set in his ways and very jealous... And I don't want to put him through this at his age. This cat is very handsome and petite with golden amber eyes. Very pretty. Just needs someone that he can learn to trust that don't hurt him. He has used the kitty litter twice in the house without any prompting so he is litter trained. So he will come with his new bag of dry food...cans of wet food. Treats. Food dishes. Litter & litter box. That all cost me 30 bucks. And I love in SSI only so if I can get a rehoming fee of 30 for him that would be great. But it's negotiable.
