Landscaping associate (Pensacola) compensation: Starting pay at 11.00 employment type: full-time Top shelf landscaping Top shelf landscaping is looking to fill multiple positions in a new and uprising landscaping company. Looking for self motivated and driven individuals that are familiar and experienced in manual labor outside. Looking for a highly motivated, professional, experienced leader in the landscaping industry ready to advance from their current position and join a fast growing operation here with Top shelf landscaping is seeking an individual with experience in the business to be a crew member and hopefully crew leader and help our company flourish and grow into the coming years! PAY RANGE: Hourly based $13.00 - $25.00 per hour HOURS: 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday thru Friday with occasional weekends and side jobs per owner instructions Your duties and responsibilities with Top Shelf will include, but not be limited to: - Oversee, coordinate, and personally participate in labor and work duties with your crew. MUST BE HANDS ON!! - Operate an array of commercial equipment including mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, etc..... - Must be able to bring knowledge of all techniques used in lawn care and maintenance, including operation and use of all equipment, and be able to instruct less experienced crew members on correct procedures to ensure 100% job satisfaction by customer. - Be knowledgeable and hands on with crew with a particular focus on SAFETY of all crew members - Must have knowledge of a vast array of lawn care products, including but not limited to: plants, grasses, sod, weed control products, fertilizers, flowers & shrubs, etc... - Must be able to apply these products to particular areas depending on requirements and limits of natural landscape and customer''s budgetary needs. - KEEP UP WITH MAINTENANCE LOGS, TIME SHEETS, CUSTOMER PHONE CALLS, SCHEDULING. This position requires responsibility in these areas to keep Altman running at a professional and efficient pace at all times, as SUMMER IS APPROACHING! REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 1 year experience in lawn maintenance - Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role running a crew to become leader - Ability to exert physical effort for extended time periods....must be in GOOD PHYSICAL SHAPE! - Must be able to lift at least 50lb and carry a reasonable distance - Clean and valid D.L. - Fast paced, positive attitude - Able to tolerate summer temps in Florida exceeding 100deg.
