We specialize in moving heavy marine assets and other equipment utilizing safe and innovative procedures and methods. www.center-lift.com Seeking: Warehouse Manager To support the orderly operation of our main warehouse, Center Lift seeks a full-time, salaried Warehouse Manager. Typical working hours will be M-F, 8am-4pm with occasional adjustments including earlier mornings, evenings, and weekends. 40 hour weeks can be expected. Periodic, limited travel is required within the Gulf Coast region. Drug and background screening will be performed prior to hire. Federal Holidays and This is an in-person role. Center Lift follows CDC-provided COVID guidelines for warehouse employees. Duties and Responsibilities The Warehouse Manager will complete various management, organization and planning, receiving and distribution tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage processes. Duties and responsibilities include: • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations about which items to order and restock • Manage technicians/operators, ensuring safe use of warehouse equipment • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to maximize efficient operations and decrease overhead • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements and keeps up-to-date on existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. • Communicate with Senior leadership to ensure products are ordered and received in a timely manner • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements/Preferred qualifications: • Valid driver license and clean driving record • Crane and forklift operator certificate or training (preferred) Skills: • Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance, Judgment, basic Microsoft programs (word, excel) Expected Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000 DOE and Qualifications Opportunities for professional development training
