Hey Van Bokkelen Families!! Let's get outside and have some fun! Join us for a Community Easter Egg Hunt at your school. Schdeule of Events 3:00 - Check in (get your goodie bag) 3:15 - Ages 0-5 head start 3:30 - Ages 6-11 join the egg hunt! 4:00 - End of Event FAQsIs this a free event?Yes! No money is required to participate in this event. Just come and have fun! How many people will be there?Due to COVID restrictions we unfortanately have to limit this event to 220 people total. Families that don't feel comfortable or don't get a spot can pick up a Take Home Easter Egg Hunt kit. Find out details here: Do we need to wear masks and socially distance?Yes. As per the ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND NUMBER 20-07-29-01, Section IV. Face Coverings, all persons in Maryland over the age of five (5) years old are required to wear a Face Covering when they are: outdoors and unable to consistently maintain at least six feet of distance from individuals who are not members of their household. What ages can particiapate in the egg hunt?Ages 0-11 (through 5th grade) can participate in the egg hunt. Will all the kids go at one time?Ages 0-5 will get a 15 minute head start! How many eggs will my child get?We are planning for each child to find 15 eggs! Will the eggs contain nuts or other items not safe for young children?All "bunnies" were instructed to not add any candy with nuts, peanut butter, or loose change. It is the guardian's responsiblity to check their childrens eggs for anything they may choke on or have an allergic reaction to. Do I need to stay at the event with my child(ren)?Yes. We ask that all households or families stay together and all children be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. What do we need to bring? Yourselves! We will provide you with a bag to collect your eggs. Of course unless you want to bring your own. Will there be other activities?There will be a Food Truck to get goodies at but due to COVID we are keeping the event short, sweet, and socially distanced! Is this event Special Needs friendly?Yes, we encourage ALL children to participate regardless of ability.
