The truth about discrimination in places of employment

Description

I work in a nursing home in St. Louis County. I am a white man. I have a strong work record with only one minus. That minus is that my health condition sometimes forces me to inform my supervisor that I am temporarily unavailable due to doctors who are not available to work on week ends. That same health condition forces me to be available for part time only. But I actively try to avoid that. I have asked for 16 to 20 hours a week with 4 hours a shift. My supervisor only allows me to work 1 shift a week. He is a black man and about 98% of his crew are black. Nursing home is located in a town that is predominantly white. The fact that he is showing favor to his own could not be more obvious! Yes black people, discrimination does indeed exist! But it is the direct opposite of you have been saying!
