Lets look at the pros of pipelines and cons of transporting oil. Pipelines pros: cheaper, from america, and less environmentally hazardous. Foreign shipment: more expensive, can introduce invasive species/new covid strains. And are environmentally toxic. For example: if a ship leaks oil it goes straight into the environment.
