Meditation, Cacao Ceremony, Drum Circle, and Sound Bath, on the Full Moon in Libra! We will be in the East building of the Krishna Temple PLEASE BRING: Pillows and blankets to sit and lie on, drums, rattles or other percussion instruments, a journal, and water. *Extra drums and rattles are provided if you don't have any! Join us for an evening of energy, sound healing and meditation. Full Moons are for letting go of that which no longer serves us, using the drum to release is powerful medicine! Drumming is one of the oldest traditions across all cultures, in the world. When we drum together, we create healing vibrations, that are capable of affecting the energetic grids of the planet that connect all life together. We will get into our heart space through guided meditation, followed by a heart opening cacao ceremony. Once we are all settled into our bodies and hearts, we will begin repetitive drumming as a group. This type of drumming takes our minds into what is known as Theta brainwaves, Theta represents the state between wakefulness and sleep and relates to the subconscious mind. These types of brain patterns contribute to improved meditation, creativity, and the ability to tap into the higher self, as well as potentially receiving messages from spirits or guides. Remaining in an open state of mind is key to receiving any messages that may come through for you. This is you using that profound gift of INTUITION we are all given as Divine birthright! Following our Theta creating drumming, you will lie down and be washed in a sound bath. We use many instruments such as crystal singing sound bowls, Native American wood flute, tuning forks, chimes and gongs. Let your mind and body gently drift on the waves of sound, carrying away any energies that are no longer serving you. After the sound bath concludes, we will ground back into our bodies and Mother Earth with some movement, ecstatic dance! Dance is such a powerful tool for moving energies through our bodies, and amazing tool for bringing joy into our lives!
