Dock/Seawall Installer Foreman The Dock/Seawall Foreman position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities include: -Supervise and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly activities -Organize, supervise, lead and train crew members to complete projects within time frames, budget and maintaining standards of quality. -Operate Mini Excavator/Skid Loader. -Operate Work Barge. -Stick Weld. -Ensure crew maintains clean work site; picks up and cleans tools and equipment and secures site daily. -Monitors quality control of work in place by operators. -Implement better methods of production in all aspects of your job. -Identify potential change orders. -Assist in schedule development and effectively budget time to adhere to schedule. -Efficiently communicates with Management regarding delays and/or emergencies on jobsite and works to resolve any issues and maintain time frame/budget. -Routinely inspects and runs prevention maintenance on assigned equipment and report any findings to Management. -Instruct and train employees. -Maintain a professional attitude. Physical Demands: The physical demands are essential to the performance of this position. -Required at times to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Lift 50 pounds Requirements: -Valid Driver’s License -3 Years Construction Experience -3 Years Carpentry Experience -Proficient in one or more relevant craft areas -Ability to motivate workers, lead by example and communicate effectively -Ability to compute basic numbers, read scales, and use simple fractions -Ability to work under pressure and within project timelines Compensation: Hourly and Salaried compensation available dependent on qualifications and vetting period PTO after 1 year Company Truck Bonuses This job description is meant to be an outline of responsibilities and is not designed to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities.
