This course explores a unique surfacing material known as ultracompact surfacing (UCS) and evaluates its mechanical properties, technical characteristics, and aesthetics to illustrate its endless design potential in exterior cladding, façade, and rainscreen applications. COVID notes: The night before the luncheon attendees will receive an email outlining procedures for getting up to the fourth floor, checking in, getting your food, mask wearing, social distancing, etc. Our space will be limited to 25 people.
