Established Benicia based General Contractor looking for Journeyman Carpenter for consistent, long term work throughout Benicia and Vallejo area. Projects focused on high-end residential remodel, (additions, kitchens & baths, and decks). JOB DUTIES: - Demo - Rough framing including takeoff and layout - Door, Window and Cabinet installation - Finish carpentry: interior and exterior trim/mouldings, siding, - Some light electrical and plumbing knowledge - Drywall patching and installation - Waterproofing/flashing MUST HAVE SKILLS - 10 years of experience in residential new construction/remodel - Own basic hand and power tools and reliable transportation - Ability to read blueprints/architectural drawings - Ability to communicate with clients and subcontractors - Successfully complete tasks within a timely manner - Keep a clean and orderly workplace - Ability to be self-sufficient and driven team player JOB DETAILS - Rate : $35 to $40 p/h paid weekly - M-F from 7:30 - 4:00 - long term and full time position References and background checks will be required.
