Hello good people of craigslist! I am writing this email on behalf of my mom, Leslie, and her 1 y/o chihuahua emotional support animal, named Ana. My mother is very low income, and had to move houses this month on short notice. The place she is moving into is wonderful, but they don't allow pets without a lengthy appeals process. We're starting that process, but Ana the dog has no where to go! A friend was supposed to take her, but that plan did not work out at the last minute. We are worried Ana will have to go to a shelter. I am reaching out on behalf of my mom – if anyone is able to foster this dog for 2-4 weeks, it would make a huge difference. We expect the appeals process to be successful, and for Ana to be reunited with Leslie. If this does not work, we would sadly look for a longer-term home for Ana. Ana has her vaccines, microchip, and has been neutered. She is playful and sweet, and quite shy at first. My mom treated her very well, but didn't teach her much in the way of skills, and she has not been exposed to other dogs very much. We could offer $50 / week to help cover costs.
