North Reading resident and residential real estate agent at Classified Realty, Shawn McEntee recently secured his Seller Representation Specialist (SRS) designation. Awarded by the Real Estate Business Institute, SRS is the premier credential in seller representation. It’s presented to agents that achieve specific educational and practical experience. Advanced education and specialization are important to McEntee who says he’s constantly reading and researching to stay informed about the market for his clients. “I’m very excited to use the tools and experience I’ve gained from the SRS certification process to offer sellers additional support and insight in today’s fluid marketplace,” he said. McEntee is also an ICU nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital and experienced in guiding people through the most difficult situations in their lives. He draws from this background to help his real estate clients. Recognizing that a home sale or purchase is usually the largest financial transaction people that make in their lifetime, his goal is to help clients navigate the process without the stress. A native of Brooklyn, New York, McEntee moved to Massachusetts to attend college and never left. He has made North Reading his home and loves the community. He holds a BS in Cardio Pulmonary Sciences from Northeastern University and a BS in Nursing from Curry College. His medical certifications include Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, Critical Care RN, and Cardiac Surgical Certification. He also recently achieved his Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification in real estate, a specialization focused on property pricing skills. When he’s not working, McEntee enjoys playing pick-up hockey.
