NEEDHAM, MA — A worker was injured in Needham at the construction site for the town's new public safety building. Fire officials said the worker fell 20 feet into a ditch at the site. The worker fell at the construction site and a medical helicopter had to be called to fly them to the hospital, according to fire officials. The person is being taken to Mass General Hospital. The incident happened at the construction site on Chestnut Street. The worker was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
