Your Arlington Last Updated: 02 March 2021 Written by Michelle Famolare Casey "The past year has undoubtedly been challenging in many ways for all of us," Michelle Casey of Marchelle Salone comments. "We've experienced devastating losses and unprecedented changes, and we feel it's important to recognize that. "However, over the past year, we've also seen so many everyday heroes stepping up and putting their best foot forward to make a difference in others' lives. Whether it be delivering food to a neighbor, providing care to those in need, supporting small businesses, etc., it's been incredible to see so many people come together to lift each other. To recognize those "everyday heroes," Marchelle Salone is showing its appreciation with some gifts. If you know someone who has been affected by Covid-19 in the past year, please nominate them to be selected as the winner of a few different giveaways. How to nominate someone: Direct-message us on Facebook or Instagram, or send us an email at marchellesalone1 at gmail.com; and Include the name, email and phone number of the nominee, plus a summary (three to five sentences) of how they've made a difference. The contest is open through March 31. We'll be choosing three "everyday heroes" to receive the following prizes: 1st prize: Wash, cut and blow-dry with a hair masque and a complimentary Aveda gift ($100 value); 2nd prize: Wash and blow-dry with a hair masque ($65 value); and 3rd prize: Aveda shampoo and conditioner ($45 value). We look forward to reading your stories and will be choosing the winners at the beginning of April. In October 2017, Marchelle Salone, formerly known as Marchelle Coiffeurs, reopened..
