NEW ROCHELLE, NY— My dream job isn't writing about my favorite NFL player. I would much rather tell the story of the honor student who sets the cross country running record at her high school. My dream job is not covering the latest scandal out of the White House. No, I'd prefer to join the Mayor for community service on Martin Luther King Day. My dream job is not writing travel guides about far away people and far off places. I'll cover the people and places where I live and work — thank you very much. My dream job doesn't come with press passes to the Met Gala. I'm perfectly happy with a seat in the audience at the school board meeting at the school where my daughter will attend.
