Press release from the Ridgefield Library: LA Lambton Mar 5, 2021 March 9 @ 7:00 PM: Clinicians Susan Bauerfeld, Phd and Chris Parrott, CPsychol of Be Curious Not Furious Parenting, have designed a presentation that will focus on how to use active listening skills and empathic responding to improve your emotional connections with others. Based on the book, How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk (author Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish), this 45-minute Zoom webinar will present practical tips and strategies that will help you stay more connected and help others develop the skills they need to be independent, compassionate, and responsible family members. This program is a collaboration of Ridgefield PTA's, Ridgefield Public Schools, Ridgefield Library, Project Resilience of Ridgefield, Compassionate Ridgefield, and Books on the Common.
