CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Public Schools officials will join partners from across the county to discuss mental health issues impacting local youth and highlight the support that exists to address those issues at a virtual forum next week. "Mental Health & You: A Community Conversation" will include discussions about the supports that exist to assist youth in communities throughout the county. The following individuals are scheduled to take part: George Arlotto, superintendent, AACPSMonique Jackson, deputy superintendent for student and school support, AACPSRyan Voegtlin, AACPS Director of Student ServicesCatherine Gray, deputy director, Anne Arundel County Mental Health AgencyJen Corbin, crisis response director, Anne Arundel County Mental Health AgencySteve Thomas, coordinator, Anne Arundel County Crisis Intervention TeamSergio Polanco, multicultural affairs officer, Anne Arundel CountyMizetta Wilson, director, Community of HopeJustin Peleska, junior, Meade High School The forum will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 9 and will be broadcast live on AACPS' YouTube page.
