..Awesome opportunity to work with a private contractor fighting wildland fires for the 2021 season.. Last year our first fire was April 21, with the season ending in Oct.! ..Seeking strong candidate(s) for on call, contract positions.. this requires: answering the call/text from dispatch, a 45min or less arrival to roll-out location, ability to be on rotation (maybe out of town) for up to 2-3 wks/12-14 hrs a day and get some work done as well?!.. ***previous wildland fire or woods experience is a plus.*** ..Training is required, provided and is coming up fast. We'll do a phone interview, maybe schedule a meet and greet, potentially go out cutting/demonstrate competency, complete fire safety training, then name goes on the roster. ..When out on fires, we're known to be: safe, professional, efficient, accountable and maintain a solid reputation amongst our peers and the firefighting community. POSITION: ..Engine Crewman.. (FTT1/2) ..Sawyer/Faller... (FAL2/3) ..Class "C" Faller w/3yrs current exp.. (FAL1) ..Brush Hand/Sawyer, for a fire fuels cleanup work over the next couple weeks; slash, pile, burn.. day rate, flat ground, this will be a part of training.
