Press release from the Shawnee Mission School District: Mar 3, 2021 The National Merit Program announced that 13 Shawnee Mission School District students are National Merit Finalists. These students took the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), which serves as an initial screen for 1.6 million program entrants each year. The following students earned finalist distinction and will have an opportunity to advance in the competition for National Merit Scholarship awards.
